Quick start
You need a wallet on Robinhood Chain, some of the game token, and a little ETH for gas. Everything else happens in the browser at game.robinheadball.com.
Before you begin#

The four steps#
- Connect & signConnect your wallet and sign one message (
personal_sign, no gas). The server then remembers you for 24 hours, so a page refresh does not ask again. - Approve the game contract, onceGrant the escrow contract an allowance for the token. This is a normal ERC-20 approval and the only transaction you pay gas for. After it, your tokens stay in your wallet.
- Pick a stake tier and Find matchChoose a tier. You are paired with someone staking the same amount. Nothing moves until you are matched.
- Play 60 secondsAt kickoff both stakes lock on-chain. When the whistle blows, the winner's 95% is sent to their wallet.
The gate
The Find button stays disabled until the game confirms three things: a valid signature, enough token balance for the tier, and an allowance for the escrow. Gas to approve is what unlocks the allowance, so a wallet without gas simply cannot enter.
What if something goes wrong?#
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| You never get paired | Nothing was locked. Leave the queue any time at no cost. |
| Not enough tokens or no allowance | The server refuses the queue entry with a clear reason (balance or allowance). |
| You are out of energy | You cannot queue until the daily reset or until you buy more. |
| Match cannot be locked or settled | It is refunded. A pot is never left stranded. See escape hatches. |
| Your connection drops | The client reconnects automatically, and you keep your seat within the grace window. |
